UK-based charity, Hands Across the Skies is a 'humanitarian airbridge solution'. The brainchild of six year-old Madison Manni Baker - the founder and UK ambassador of the charity - Hands Across the Skies aims to connect children across the globe in times of crisis to provide support.
Our inaugural flight delivered aid to Ukraine at the peak of the crisis. In September 2022, we partnered with the Amir Khan Foundation to deliver 35 tonnes of aid on a private, chartered flight for the flood relief effort in Pakistan.
In partnership with the Amir Khan Foundation (AKF), in September 2022, Hands Across the Skies delivered 35 tonnes of critical aid to Pakistan as part of the flood relief effort, which was distributed across all provinces. Hands Across the Skies Bulgarian Ambassador, Anna, joined the AKF team to deliver the aid from East Midlands, UK to Islamabad, Pakistan.
Hands Across the Skies child Ambassadors from Ukraine and Bulgaria helped deliver 30 tonnes of critically-needed aid to support the crisis in Ukraine.
Nine-year-old Madison Manni-Baker was only six when she saw the crisis unfolding in Ukraine. Devastated by the scenes of displaced suffering children, she asked her father Mark how she could get toys, clothes and other comforts to the children losing their homes. Hands Across the Skies was born at this moment: the empathy of one child manifesting an airbridge to connect with children across the world.
